In the 40th issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news: Xiamen: The metro networks in Xiamen are now moved onto the next phase. Ever since its completion in June, line 2 has been doing its test runs. It is a west-east running line, intersecting line 1 once at Lücuo station, and will highly probably celebrate its birthday together with the year 2020. Shanghai : Pudong Airport is undergoing a series of schematic changes, including two new APM lines to serve the east and west wings of the airport separately. From the map below we can learn that the two lines won't share a joint until the possible completion of Terminal T3. Another thing confirmed is that no new lines are opening this year.
