Breaking News! Line 8, line 21 (Yangluo line) and line 1 northern extension in Wuhan are  officially announced to open on the  26th December ! That's only 2 days later! I will do a follow-up report on the 26th December just for sure, but more importantly, to cross out another 3 lines on our list! Tips: I assume that any other yet-to-be-mentioned lines on the list will open on the 28th, practically some sort of tradition in China. Oh, God knows how busy I'll be next week...

In the tenth issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news: Wuhan : Only days until our line 8 and line 21 (Yangluo line) coming into service, I figure it's my last chance to show you more of them. Shanghai : News came in from the construction sites of line 17, a real fully-equipped line built for commuting, connecting the remote Qingpu district where private cars were the only possible means of transportation, to the railway station. Breaking News! Line 2 in Hefei is officially announced to open on the 26th December ! Finally! This line is opening in a week! The day after Christmas Day! I will do a follow-up report on the 26th December just for sure, but more importantly, to cross out another line on our list! In spite of its name it's not really a commuter line and a bit futuristic than usual, that it is a maglev line. (I wonder how our German readers feel about the name) ...
