Breaking News! I declare hereby that S7 in Nanjing  is now in service  today ! Finally after 5 months! I'm so much obliged to have the honour to mark the line on the list.

【速報】南京S7

Breaking News! S7 in Nanjing is finally officially announced to open tomorrow on the  26th May ! Finally! Why do they always have to wait until the last moment? I will do a follow-up report tomorrow just for sure , but more importantly, to mark out another line on our list!

Weekly report 24

In the 24th  issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news: Chengdu : The only city that seems to still making progress has published the following data of each line. Please read the screenshots below: (The map for line 18 isn't connected... please try to visualize the whole line.) Hence, we can safely say that line 3 and line 5 are opening this year for sure.  Furthermore, Rong 2 tram is announced to be opened before October. Nanjing : No annoucements about S7, although the opening date is determined to be in this month (or that's just my wish). Thank you for reading this issue and hopefully we can celebrate the opening of S7 in the coming week!

In the 23rd  issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news: Trams : Trams in China are really in full bloom right now. Since there's really too many cities with a project, I think it wiser to do a category: Zhuzhou : Most notably for being the headquarter of the locomotive manufacturer CRRC (see it in Wikipedia here ), the city is planning to have a new type of transportation: the SmartRail. As Chinese entreprises are always encouraged to be "innovative", they've come up with the conception of a guideless tram line, "a hybrid of tram and bus", which turns out to be a bus in tram's shape. This 3-car-bus will be semi-driverless operated, guided by "virtual rails", rubber-tyred, and driven by batteries. The first line A1 is currently under trial operation since 8th May, and is expected to commence commercial operation in 3 months. A further Phase II is planned to join in, forming it a circl
