Weekly report 27

In the 27th  issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news: Beijing : I think it's clear to all of us that line 8 is going to open a section in this year, the phase III and IV, which starts from Zhushikou station, creating an embarrassing gap between its north and south sections (much like line 14). According to the news the  tracks are completed. Wuhan : This city is surely making some progress. With line 11 now in trial operation and line 2 south section completed, we can be mostly assured that 3 new lines will join the system this year. Furthermore, Caidian line, basically an extension of line 4, is near completion. Suzhou : We've been reporting about its tram line 2 over the previous months, but the official announcement finally came in saying it's opening in August.  ...And no more news for this month yet. See you in the next issue!
