Hello my friends! I’m sure you’re all missing me since my last journey report (which was like 2 weeks ago?). The journey itself is a year ago, though. After having realized that this could be my last disposable summer vacation for the next 3 years, I had absolutely no hesitation in booking all the tickets and the hotels. I had been thinking about Nanjing for a long time, for it had the 4 th largest urban rail transit system at that time (that would be No. 5 now since Shenzhen has now the 4 th largest). Considering the convenience of travelling in the Yangtze Delta Region (which technically includes Jiangsu , Zhejiang and Shanghai ), it was just a little hesitation before I decided to add Suzhou and Shanghai on my list. I planned a long itinerary covering every aspect from culture to cuisine, and to the metros, of course, for the three cities into its deepest core. ご存知の通りドイツ語を習得しています。きっかけはやはり、色々と「難しい」と言われたので興味がそそられたことです。言語好きな私にとってはどちらも挑戦してみたいものですが、やはり最初は圧倒されました。前にもフランス語やイタリヤ語などのヨーロッパ言語にも馴染みがあるつもりだったけど、ドイツ語とは断然違った。特に、「格」という概念が初心者からすれば最大の難関とも言えましょう。この名詞はこの文では主語、あるいは間接述語や直接述語とやらで格が変わり、一つのものだけが変わるというのに文全体を書き直さなければならない。個人的な見解に過ぎませんが、やはり形式を重視する言語なので規則さえ忠実に守れば何となく難易度も下がる。はずだが、全くそういうことではありません。文法という山を乗り越えた先には、更なる「語彙の海」に沈むことになった。例を幾つか挙げましょう。 Gebrauch この単語に、 brauchen という「要る」という部分があるので「需要」という意味かなって考えたけど、全く関連のない「習慣」という意味でした（これはテストに出された時で間違ったことに因んで覚えた）（汗） Bedü rfnis Dürfen （許す）という部分で「許可」かなって・・・「需要」を意味する言葉だった。 他にも、 Gift など英語の影響で誤解を招きやすい例を挙げれば数え切れないほどあるのですが、今の私のレベル（ B1 資格を獲得したが実際不明）では主にこういう言葉ではなくてドイツ語固有の言葉と苦戦しています。例を挙げてみれば、 Einfallen Ausfallen Auffallen Gefallen など、 fallen （落ちる）が元になる動詞に幾つかも接頭辞を付ける事でできた言葉。いちいち意味が違っていて接頭辞だけを見ても全然関連性がない。使い方もちぐはぐで・・・かと言って、母語である中国語により多くこういう現象が存在するのではないかって逆に考えてみると確かにそうなんだが・・・日本語を勉強した時よりずっと紛らわしくて、ていうか日本語は本当に何の苦労もなく自然の流れで身につけたねと感想の一言。 どう頑張ってもレベル上がらないなあこのままじゃ永遠に上級者にはなれないなあってやばい発想がいっぱい頭の中に回ってて ・・・でも結局、頑張る

Also ihr wollt bestimmt wissen, warum der Blog "idyllic metropolis" heißt. Die Idee ist eigentlich von einer Linie in Tokyo geliehen, nämlich 田園都市線, die wörtlich idyllische Stadt (oder Metropolis, damit es etwas zu tun mit "metro" hat) bedeutet. Vielleicht hatte das private Unternehmen Odakyu, das die Linie führt, ursprünglich ein hohes Ziel für eine ideale Stadt (Die privaten Unternehmen in Japan verfügen oft außer der Bahn auch über andere Infrastrukturen, die größten davon sind vergleichbar mit Konzernen. Beispielerweise beschäftigt sich Odakyu daneben mit Bus, Taxi, Hotel, Supermarkt und Immobilien) und nannte sie so. In Wirklichkeit gibt's gar keine Idylle: Die Linie bleibt immer eine der überfülltesten Linien in ganzer Region Tokyo (na ja, auch in ganzer Region Japan), was ihr einen Namen macht. In Kurzformen schreibt man meistens DT.  田園都市線= Den'en Toshi sen,  田園 für Idylle,  都市   für Stadt.

I stopped by Shenzhen for about 6 hours, since there is no direct train from Guangzhou to Fuzhou, I had to take a connection train from Shenzhen. My journey in Shenzhen started at the North railway sta. The line map in July on which lines 7 and 9 are shown in grey Shortly after I had arrived, I took line 4 to the convention & exhibition center for lunch (there’s a huge underground shopping mall there). Line 4 is actually operated by HK’s MTR, so you can see a lot of differences from other lines. The next half of the journey after lunch started with line 1.  My route was like: line 1 → interchange at Laojie → line 3 → interchange at Buji  → line 5 →  interchange at Huangbeiling →   line 2 →  interchange at Futian → line 11  → interchange at Qianhaiwan → line 5  → back to Shenzhen North sta.  in order to travel on every single line.
