 Nanjing metro S3 is officially announced to be opened next month!
U-Bahn Nanjing S3 wird nach offiziellen Nachrichten im nächsten Monat eröffnen!

 The Phase I section Nanjing South sta. - Gaojiachong is estimated to begin operation by the middle of November.
Die Phase I Strecke Nanjing South sta. - Gaojiachong hat eine erwartete Eröffnung Mitte November.

The violet coloured line is S3.
Die lila gefärbte Linie ist S3.

What is new about S3?

Was ist neu über S3?

First of all, it is the third line of the system to cross the Yantze River (the other ones being Line 10 and Line 3) and the first line to connect the southwestern suburban area to the main city area. More importantly, it makes Nanjing South sta. the fourth interchange station of universe of all kind. (The other three are in Shanghai and Shenzhen respectively).

 Erstens ist sie die 3. Linie des Netzes, die durch den Jangtse fährt (die anderen seien M10 und M3) sowie die erste Verbindung des südwestlichen Vororts mit den Stadtgebieten. Am wichtigsten ist es aber, dass sie den Nanjing Südbahnhof zu der vierten Station des Alles macht (die anderen drei sind nämlich in Shanghai und Shenzhen).

【速報】Pudong APM

The largest single satellite terminal in the world... and the newest. Two of them are now in Shanghai's Pudong Airport, with two separate APM lines linking them to the previously established terminals T1 and T2. Two APM lines inside the Pudong Int'l Aiport are announced to be opened on the 16th September . Once opened, Pudong will become the first airport to be equipped with a steel-wheeled airside transit system.  The official promotion video. It is operated by 4 car automated trains shuttling every 5 minutes in a 2'30'' journey. Checking in at this airport can get more than tricky here: Passengers with the letter G or H on the boarding pass need to take the train to the satellite terminal for their flights after the security check, whereas passengers arriving at the satellite terminals will have to be transported to the main terminal for their luaggage claim.
