Weekly report 22

In the 22nd issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news:

  • Shanghai: As I might have mentioned before, a tram line currently under construction in the Songjiang District, which would be lying in the southwest suburban area of Shanghai, is making its moves. An enthuasiastic railfan has taken the following pictures:

The control panels.

Inside the trains.

The tram with line 9 as the background.

It is currently being dragged by this truck to test if it'll fit the rails, so no one on the driver's seat.

Encountering line 9 on the viaduct again.

  • Nanjing: Opening date of S7 remains unreleased, but we can have a glance inside the train thorough this video:

  • Suzhou: No particular news, just a news reporting the opening of T1 extension:

Those red trains were originally meant for T2, expected to open this August.

Looks like this month is going to be quieter. I do hope that there's more to show you in the first day of the month! Thank you for reading this and I wish a more interesting next issue for all of you!
