Weekly report 48

In the 48th issue of our (irregularly updated) weekly report, we proudly present you with the following news:
  • Chengdu: A conclusion to the metro projects currently being built in this city of this year —— line 8, in the uprising capital of metropolitan. This is the last line of the six ongoing projects —— six new full lines, seven if extension is accounted for —— to have its tunnels completed, and one of the five lines to open next year.
  • Chongqing: Trains have started to cross the Yangtze River on a regular basis as test runs unfold on a portion of the remaining section on loop line, i.e. Haixialu - Erlang, with a total of five stations. This leaves the whole ring only one intermediate station from being enclosed, perceivably at least next year.
  • Shenzhen: One sixteenth, decimal 0625, or 6.25%... That's how you describe line 10 in Shenzhen, the absolute sovereign of metro network in the next two years. With the completion of its tunnels, we will able to witness 5 potential openings next year.
Good morning November and the prelude of winter! The temperature outside might sink, yet never our passion and vigour. After all —— it's just one month away from Christmas, and the new openings celebrating it.
